WINE STORAGE TANKS

INOXFRIULI wine storage tanks are the product of over 30 years of research and innovation in the oenological sector. Advised and supported by qualified wine technicians and wine growers, INOXFRIULI manufactures tanks for red wines which, thanks to their high quality and technological input, enable well known wines to be produced while reducing the time required for fermentation. The automatic control and monitoring system fitted to the wine tank enables, according to the type of product desired, the extraction of the wine’s characteristic colours and aromas.

The INOXFRIULI wine tanks have been designed to carry out the following operations:

q  Heat the water circulating in the heating bath, located beneath the tank’s bottom, using electric heating elements; This process encourages rapid and controlled fermentation;

q  Pumping the wine over the must using a recirculation pump; Thanks to the backward movement of the impeller, the pump does not harm the suspended solid elements.  The computerised control system enables the immersion and pumping cycles to be set-up according to the kind of processing desired, whatever the type of winemaking or grape.

q  Optimum bathing of the top of the pomace using a suitable rotating spray that can be either inertial or motorised. Breakdown of the pomace top using suitable devices (detachable) to ensure maximum contact between pomace and must.

q  Cooling by use of an air conditioning compartment installed on the jacket; Together with the heating system fitted to the wine tank’s bottom and the control panel, the temperature can be controlled and programmed both manually or automatically, so optimum vinification cycles are obtained;

q  Evacuation of the pomace after the racking, using motor-operated evacuating blades.  The flat and tilted base facilitates pomace clearance, making internal cleaning of the wine tank easier.
